Garage door services in Seattle, Washington along with city officials are urging residents to have their homes and garages inspected after a number of gas leaks were recently discovered. One such leak led to an explosion recently when a strong jolt of stray electricity energized a natural gas pipe. Two people were injured in the explosion, with one in serious condition. Public services are still inspecting the site of the blast to determine if it’s safe for residents to return. Authorities say if you smell gas in your home or from behind garage doors at your Seattle residence, call 911 and exit your home immediately.
