Police are advising residents in Dallas, Texas keep their garage doors locked and secured, after one local woman was assaulted in her garage. The woman says a garage is not a safe place and women should be careful when spending time there alone. The woman was attacked at about noon when she went in to her garage to get something from her refrigerator. The garage had been left open and a man appeared and attacked her. Only once a neighbor passed by and heard a commotion did the perpetrator flee. Officials are still looking for the man but say the best thing to do is to contact a garage door service in Dallas and secure your garage against intruders.
