A tragic and almost deadly incident occurred recently when a pair of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania garage doors collapsed at a home in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, trapping a man who was passing by at the time. Thankfully, emergency crews were alerted soon after and arrived at the scene where they were able to free him from the debris, though the victim is still being hospitalized. Garage door services in Philadelphia were called in to examine the cause of the collapse and see if there was a faulty mechanism or if the problem was structural, but they have yet to come to a conclusion.
