Garage door services in New York, New York were recently called in to repair part of a two-car garage that was damaged in a local fire. Police say a generator sparked the blaze that destroyed most of the garage. Luckily the owner was outside at the time and noticed the flames coming out of the garage doors in his New York home. Because of recent storms from Hurricane Irene there were fallen trees which posed a challenge to fire fighters trying to reach the flames, and it took them longer than usual to do their job. Irene was also the reason the man was using a generator in the first place – his electricity had been knocked out from the storm.
