A fire broke out recently causing severe damage to a local home. Authorities say the fire began behind the garage doors of a Stockton, California house just after 2 a.m. Firefighters were called to the scene where they tried unsuccessfully to put out the blaze. It eventually spread to the attic, and only after 45 firefighters worked for an hour did they manage to extinguish the flames. Two people were inside the home at the time but were able to make it out safely. The fire department has enlisted a Stockton garage door service to help in the investigation and determine the cause of the fire which cost more than $200,000 in damage.
