The incident occurred at about midday when the homeowner was at work. Luckily there were not too many items of value taken but the perpetrator did manage to get away without being identified. A neighbor witnessed the break-in take place and called the police but they arrived after the intruder had already fled. According to police, residents should be vigilant and make sure their homes are secured.
