Police arrested a 37-year-old man who was charged with using bolt cutters to steal at least three high-end bicycles, some worth as much as $1,000. The police caught on to the man after finding his finger prints on a bolt cutter package found near Glendale, California parking garage doors. This was enough to obtain a warrant to search his residence where they subsequently found the bikes. The man entered committed his crimes by entering apartment buildings through the garage and then cutting bike locks with bolt cutters. While the victims are happy their bikes were recovered they’re upset with the apartment owner for not having contacted garage door services in Glendale and securing the garages adequately to protect against intruders.
