Police arrested a man after he stole a police bait car. The car, rigged with surveillance devices and able to be turned off remotely, was set up as a decoy. The man broke into the car from inside a garage door in Glendale, Arizona, but within minutes police had pulled him over and arrested him. The bait car was set up after there were a number of break-ins reported in the area and residents began contacting garage door services in Glendale to see how they could better secure their automobiles. Police say the bait cars are a great way to catch thieves, and often they catch criminals who are linked to other car robberies as well.
