Work Description: I have an 18' wide garage door. My door had a torsion spring broken. From my point of view there is no other way to fix it but to replace the spring. I did some research on the internet about the matter. Since I found out that it is not only dangerous but there are so many variables involved to "do it you self" I decided to look for a professional. I researched on the internet and Don's doors came up as a contractor. I called him on December 24th during the morning time. Since most places close early on Dec 24th or are not open at all , it was impossible to get the springs needed to fix the problem but that little detail did not stop Mr. Don from having the door running by 1:00pm that afternoon. He knows what to do. He knows all the secrets of the trade and it was obvious to me that he applied all his knowledge, experience and his heart to resolve what "to me" was the impossible. Nevertheless on the first work day when the supplier opens again. Since all the situation happened yesterday, Mr. Don will order the new torsion springs that I need with the # of Cycles that I requested and replace them.

Comments: My family uses the garage door many times per day. We did not understand how important was to have the garage door opening and closing just pressing a button until the little incident happened. I do not have a doubt that I would recommend Mr. Don to any of my friends, family or any one who needs repairs to their garage door. Mr Don is not only a gentlemen but my level of satisfaction, quality service, work, reliability and price, is 5 of 5 stars without a doubt.

Work Description: Removal of two old wooden garage doors and hardware; installation of two new insulated galvanized steel garage doors with new hardware and installation of two new electric garage door openers performing all required electrical work.

Comments: My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with Don's work and his way of working with us during the selection process. He patiently went over all the options available with doors, windows, and openers and answered all of our questons so we could select the best quality product that fit our budget. The installation was perfect with Don going the extra mile to make sure everything would function properly. After the installation he patiently instructed us in all facets of operating the openers and all of the safety features. All the old material was taken away and no cleanup on our part was required. I will recommend Don to anyone. We are that pleased with all of our dealings with Don from the selection and estimate process through the installation. As I said, we couldn't be more pleased.

Work Description: Needed to replace pulleys & wires in 2 doors and install a new garage opener.

Comments: Don's work is high quality, and he is also very transparent and honest. I had been told by another contractor I had to change the garage door opener, and it was actually working, Don found that one of the wires was cut and fix it on the spot., which saved me $250 by not replacing the opener. Just replaced the pulleys and a wired. Fully recommend Don for his professionlysim, honesty, and for picking up small details that will save money in the long run. Rafael Vecchio

Work Description: Performed a comprehensive inspection of existing garage doors, fittings and hardware; refit older wooden garage doors with new pulleys and cables; put mis-aligned sections of the wooden doors back into alignment with the hardware; lubricated pulleys and wheels; confirmed proper alignment of locking mechinism.

Comments: Don was very knowledgeable, resourceful and dilligent. We may have him do an installation project in the near future.
